Light and easy to use, good suction. Motor head is excellent, Funky looks!
Bad Points
Bit bright in colour, dust container difficult to clean out 100%. Main Vaccum Motor died after 1.5 years.
General Comments
Considering this Dyson DC05 is the only vaccum cleaner we have bought new I am dissapointed that it has failed allready. The main motor packed up last week, announcing its demise with a superb burning smell and groans. As this motor only provides the vaccum, I am suprised it has failed as it's hardly under much load! £50 for a new one from vaccumcleanerspares.co.uk and we should be back in business

I agree with Nigel. We've had our DC05 for a couple of years or so and the motor has just given up the ghost. I guess I have the choice of paying Dyson £65 to come and repair it, do it myself for a bit less or buy a Miele (which I probably should have done in the first place!).
