Good Points

Superb quality photos.
Excellent design.
Ease of use for novice and keen photographer.


Bad Points

Screen could have been bigger.
All menu functions could have been kept to the one button set.


General Comments

I bought this Fuji Finepix S5000 digital camera just after Christmas, and have shot hundreds of photos already. The joy of this camera is that my wife can easily use it to take photos of the children, cat and other strange relatives, whilst i can go use it for night time, sports mode and manual settings. Having had SLR's previously the feel of this camera is fantastic, its as a camera should be held. The software that comes with it is easy to install and does the basics well, but is limited. One good thing about the software is that it gives you a breakdown of all the settings used to create each photo. This is realy useful, especially when you've snapped a cracker and you couldn't remember what ISO speed you used or if the setting was on Auto!
All in all this the best £250 i have ever spent, and goes a long way to giving me the feel and functionality of my SLR, but with the cost free developement and convenience of digital photography.
