Since buying diesel from ASDA, my car is sluggish and lacks any decent acceleration at all which is funny for a turbo diesel! Can't wait to empty the tank and get some decent fuel in there

I have been using Asda diesel since December 2010 last year and have noticed the stange smell from there diesel like turpintine brush cleaner not the smell I would associate with diesel.My car also is a turbo diesel and gradually I have noticed that it now gives of light coloured smoke when cold start in the mornings and running as if it were missing on one cylinder intermittent, strange for a diesel ,I think that it may be causing excessive carbon deposits ,which in turn may be causing piston rings and hydraulic valve lifters to stick hence the smoke and the running rough intermittent. There has also been a strong fuel smell like ki-gas when coming to a stop at my home on a number of occasions.I am getting increasingly concerned now about this and have made a complaing to the Asda station in Galashiels Scotland about my problem but so far not heard back from them. Is anyone else out there in Scotland or England noticed similar problems after using Asda fuel. I would be pleased to here comments from anyone else out there having similar problems after using Asda diesel fuel. Yours scincerely Mr M
