I almost fly every year twice to Europe, and since Canada does not let most of airline in , so Canadians don't have much choice. I have tried Etihad, Gulf Air, British Air, Kuwet Air, Qater Air and other airlines in past 10 years but to be honest - Air Canada is the worst carrier on the sky. For those who are flying with Air Canada all their life, Please try Emirats, Etihad, Singapore Airline or Japan Airline...then you will know how much air canada sucks. Aircraft itself does not have much to do with your flight experience , Air Canada is horrible because of 2 reasons only - 1. Cabin crews are RUDE, probably the rudest in the industry ( some of them probably are racist) 2. Air Canada food sucks ! Again, I fly with air-canada twice a year, so it is not I am writing just from a single observation/ flight experience.Bottom Line: If you want to have perfect memories of your trip, don't use air-canada.
