I have naturally dark/course Asian hair and I always go back to Sun-In. Been using it for over 10 years. You just need to know your hair and learn how to use it. The more product you put on the lighter your hair gets, so yes, about halfway through the bottle my hair would obviously lift to a reddish brown. But once I do finish a bottle it is a very light, almost ashy brown. Obviously besides our natural base color, everyones hair still react differently. Stripping my hair with bleach has far more damaging effects. For me this product has always worked well, and for the price there's a reason why I always go back!
So I obviously I have to disagree with all the blondes saying we shouldn't use this because it "won't work". My other friends who have the same type of hair have had similar positive experiences. A friend who actually has fine Asian hair went platinum with an entire bottle. Again, you just have to know your own hair.
