Good Points

Good intro to a side-cocker
Metal not as soft as some Chinese airgun
Relatively easy to disassemble/reassemble


Bad Points

Ratchet device bracket came off, not welded
Well : DO NOT DEPEND ON THIS TO KEEP CHAMBER OPEN!
Inside of compression chamber could use smoothing up.


General Comments

The KL-3B .177 Caliber is a very basic airgun from NORINCO which resembles a SKS from a top view and has the heft of a firearm. Easy tear down, etc. Makes one think of a kit gun. As with all cocking procedures do not depend on the ratchet (the catch is too thin/small), bear-trap device or trigger safety alone to protect your fingers when loading a pellet -check these items regularly (not really a gun for the young ones). Airgun tuner Charlie DaTuna on Chinese Airgun Forum suggests a pin to lock the piston when you load the KB. Lots of gun for the money.
