“Superb bike. Twenty two years in the saddle and this...”

Superb bike. Twenty two years in the saddle and this is the best all rounder I've found yet. It's small and light enough to chuck about, yet has the power to eat motorway miles and not notice. I did 570miles in one day, motorways all the way at 80 to 95MPH.

The brakes are awesome, be careful with them in the wet.

The headlights are apalling, I fitted an HID kit on the High Beam side and that sorted it.

Good two up, nearly 100 ponies innit?

I regularly get 60MPG from steady riding, down to 40MPG for thrashing.

The alternator is big enough to run the HID kit, heated grips and heated jacket, so it makes a nice winter tourer.

Best advice, wash the brake calipers down after every winter ride (when there's salt) and you won't have a problem.

I found this review very helpful because...somethimes the official reviews can end up not really telling me anything. I like them down to earth, written by people who have lived with the bike for longer than a few hours. This will be my first big bike, so I need to know if will be suitable for a long commute. Sounds good so far.
