Came across GemsTV late November and have made several purchases so far.

Not being a gem expert I cannot comment on the quality of gemstones nor workmanship but am more than happy viz a viz price/appearance.

One critisism though. Its very noticeable that the ASP (auction selling price) is increasing significantly lately making the final purchase price appear so much more a bargain! That sort of indirect selling pressure is unnecessary and 'cheapens' the channel.

I found this review very helpful because I've had similar experiences, stones with holes in, chipped etc, scratched silver and several pairs of earrings damaged, scratched metal work, bent posts. I then took to carefully examining stuff and especially earrings, not taking them out of the packets. I tried to buy them with several orders, had to send loads of stuff back, carefully documenting the damaged items. Then sometimes had difficulty getting them to refund my postage, which on a couple of occasions, they would only repay me by deducting off a next order the equivalent amount. The customer service is not a patch on what it was at the old Gems TV which was superb!
