I have stupidly just tried to order again from Create and Craft after a terrible debacle last year when I bought some Crafters' Companion items. I live in France and although they profess to deliver over here, the first item was returned to C & C by the courier although they couldn't tell me why. I cancelled the order (or so I thought) and bought the items direct from Crafters Companion who were brilliant, cheaper postage and fast delivery. The order that I had cancelled subsequently arrived about 3 weeks later from C & C and I had a heck of a job getting a refund. As with all the reviews on here, customer service non-existent and cost me a fortune to phone from France.
I stupidly decided to try again, and ordered some card and paper in the sale on 27 December.
Managed to track it on the delivery courier's site and found it had been returned to C & C again (no explanation). It then was sent out again and has been sitting in the courier's delivery hub since 4/1/11 with no action.
Today (12/1/11) when I finally got through to customer service (there's a misnomer if ever I heard one!), they said they have already refunded the cost of the items, but no postage, even though there was no attempt to even try and deliver the items. Needless to say they hadn't even had the courtesy to send a letter out to me to say they couldn't fulfil the order and they seemed quite put out that I wanted the postage refunded! They have now said that they will refund the postage but I will have to wait over a week for it to go through the system. They still insist they deliver to France and just said there were "a few problems" at the moment with the carrier. When I asked for compensation they had the nerve to offer a voucher off my next order. Needless to say I will not be using them again and will stick with QVC in future, whose customer service is second to none.

I found this review very helpful because...I am currently having the same problem. I too live in France and C+C's new courrier seem to just return the item to the retailer for no reason whatsoever, even though HDNL (the courrier) state on their site that they deliver worldwide. I asked if they could send it by Royal Mail and they refused.
<br/>It seems they've forgotten that it's the customer who's keeping them in business and that customer satisfaction should be their first priority.

I wholeheartedly agree with all that has been said. I live in France and have had no end of bother with them. It is so frustrating to see items you want, you order and then the battle begins on trying to get the stuff delivered. Their customer care people just don't seem to care at all about any customer, no matter what the value of the order that has been placed. I am currently trying to have my £15 p&p returned for items not delivered. They have given me no explanation (yet again) for non delivery. If they cannot deliver to France, why can they not say so and put us all out of our misery!!
