Wow, what a fantastic place! After visiting Chessington World of Adventures several times, I decided it was time to move on to some more intense rides and as soon as my family could arrange it, we were off to Alton Towers! My sister was nervous at first as she thought there would only be rides suited for teens and adults but she found that there is loads for everyone to do and in the end she ended up coming on everything with me!

All the rides are superb and the themed areas are all so different and well designed that it's really magical to walk around the park, feeling almost as though you are walking through different worlds.

By far, the best ride in the entire park is Nemesis. Because we stayed at the resort we got early ride time and managed to get on twice first thing in the morning without a que! Air and Rita are equally fantastic coasters (Rita is by far the more intense of the two but Air is alot of fun!) and although their more family rides, Sonic Spinball and Thi3teen are great too! I must admit, I chickened out of going on Oblivion but my Dad went on and loved it!

Overall, an amazing theme park with rides to suit all ages!
