I had an accident where someone did a U-turn in the road as i was coming by and hit me. I broke two vertbra in my back, my husband reported the accident to churchill on my behalf while was in hospital. When i got home from the hospital i had a letter from churchill informing me that the accident was my fault and that they were going to pay out to the other party. I told Churchill that i wasnt happy and that i was seeing a solictor to claim for personal injury, at this point they were not happy. They told me i would need their approval to go for personal injury as the accident was my fault. I saw a solictor, he got approval to take on the case and 6 months later the other party admitted liabilty and my no claims was reinstated. Churchill were ready to blame me and not even fight the case they just want a easy life.
