Similar to the previous post, I too was broken into three months ago (early October 10). Despite getting telephone assurances regarding the replacement of (essntial) specific items of my claim in November '10, I am still waiting for some kind of settlement. I have spent seemingly forever on their Customer 'Hotline'(my record is a mere 55minutes) but, as yet, I still have been unable to speak to a human being.
I will never, never take out any kind of insurance again with Tesco. My car is currently covered by them but when the renewal comes in February, there is no way - regardless of how cheap they are - that I will stay with them.
In a word, Tesco's home insurance claim procedures (even for the 'Finest' cover which I have) are "DISGRACEFUL".
