Whirlpool Dishwasher, Model 980, we have had great luck with this dishwasher. It cleans great, is fairly quiet.
After three years the silver basket needs to be replaced. But this is the third home in which we have had a Whirlpool dishwasher.
I don't know why the basket on our Philips 980 dishwasher broke, but I feel that is minor. I would buy another Whirlpool.
