Been many times to the recently refurbished Duck. Most of the staff are very friendly. I have eaten during the week when it is much quieter, the service and food is excellent then. Went Bank Holiday Monday and it was very hectic and busy, service was slow but standard of food was still very good. We were advised of length of wait so did not mind as it was obvious that there were so many people ordering food. It has become a very popular weekend pub again.

I overheard someone complaining about the length of time they had been waiting, but surely when they entered the pub and saw how busy it was they should have realised that their food would not be out quickly ! Anyway good luck to the new owners they are obviously doing something right.
