Staff welcomed us warmly- first day of new VAT rate, so pricing was a bit confusing.

Jacket potato served with omelette was undercooked and inedible.

Mashed potato served with liver and onion was suspiciously like instant mash- couldn't be sure but texture and taste suggested this.

Otherwise the food was reasonable but not 1st class, particularly regards presentation.
