Honda VTX 1300c Review

Bought this bike in 2009 with 4000 miles on the clock. Easily the most comfortable cruiser I habe ridden. At 6'1" I find the seating position excellent and comfortable on long rides (500 miles in one day from Scotland to Portsmouth)



I took the bike to Europe in 2010 for a 2000 mile trip over 6 days and thoroughly enjpyed the experience. I was accompanied by 3 friends om a CBF1000, VFR800 and a Transalp700 and was not out of place in the slightest. The XTX1300 was excellent on corners and back roads and the balance and power delivery were fantastic. Handling and grip were superb even in the wet and the fairing kept me as comfortable as was possible in the conditions (Heavy rain).



The VTX was even superb when I took it into the Pyrenees with its steep narrow roads and hairpin bends. You can really manouver this leviathan of a bike and feel confident about it.



Overall - Fast, excellent handling, comfortable, head turning looks and the best bike I have ridden.
