David Clulow (Islington Branch): There have been some harsh reviews here but the David Clulow in Islington wasn't too bad. Very good quality glasses you can't get elsewhere like Lindburgh. Focus on high quality frames and lenses. Now costs are very high compared to elsewhere. I got two pairs for £960 while at Specsavers it might have been about £330 and that is after discounts. However the quality seemed very high and the design of the glasses was excellent. On the staff being too salesy as some reviewers have said. Well there is an element of that. When you are shocked by the price usually the sales guy will come out with a lower price on the basis of some discount. so I think they are worth trying as one of the best niche opticians selling designer frames. Staff advice was pretty good on the whole. However, I have only bought the glasses today so we will see how things go from there.... Andrew
