I have always purchased my contacts from my local optometrist but at twice the price I thought I would give online purchase a go. I ordered my contacts online from Quicklens on 3 December 2010. The online tracker showed they were shipped on 6 December. As at 20 December they still had not arrived. I emailed quicklens enquiring where they were but were told they could not guarantee delivery in any certain number of days and that it may take sometme especially in December. This was despite the confirmation email upon order stating that delivery would be within about one week. As at 31 December they have still not arrived. "Quick" lens are definitely not quick!
