Air France stole $880 from me, and now all they do is simply deny it and then ignore my calls. My flight experience with Air France before and after my vacation in December of 2010 was the singular worst airline experience a human being can have without actually dying in a plane crash. They're rude, completely disengaged, you may hear a phone ring when you call for tech support on their website but depending on how they feel you're likely the only one hearing it ringing because when you need them, they're not going to answer the phone. Go ahead. Call! Right now! 800-992-3932. I DARE YOU!! You will sit on hold for 40 minutes listening to some droning, hypnotic drivel piece of music before you can even hope to speak to a human being. When I called to purchase extra baggage allowance on Air France's website I entered all the information where they required it, credit card, address, etc. I kept getting an error window that said, "We're Sorry. The Reservation Tool Is Not Currently Available. We Are Working To Remedy This. Please Try Again Later." So I did try again later. 10 Times. What I didn't realize is that each time I tried, they were charging my debit card for two extra baggage allowances. $880!!!! And now when I try to call them to get my money back guess what I get! The Song!!!! If you even think of using Air France, you have been warned and you will be an idiot for not taking the advice of all of these people who will tell you. Air France is the worst run company on the planet short of British Petroleum. And after they've ruined your life they will ignore you and not take your calls.
