I used StreetCar for just over a year. I should have canceled when I could have. I figured because they were a new company, maybe they had a few kinks to work out. The reality, though, is that it never got any better. I would call to complain about the previous driver being late returning my car, damage to the vehicle, improper charges, etc, and the most frequent response I would receive is, "I'm sorry, sir, but we're a business. We can't do anything about that." I was a customer of ZipCar in the US and the customer service was miles better. Often with StreetCar, I found the vehicles to be in pretty shoddy shape. That, coupled with the callous customer service, as well as the mysterious charges to my account that would take months to get reversed, made me cancel my account. StreetCar is a nice idea, but it's too much trouble to be worth it.
