Bought a ticket for my father-in-law for the 24. of december so he could spend x-mas evening with his daugher, that he hadn't seen in a year.
He came to checkin and was informed that the booking had been changed to the 23. (!)
At customer service they informed us, that the flight was cancelled for "marketing reasons" (meaning not enough passengers) on the 6. of december. Unfortunately the DID NOT HAVE THE RESSOURCES TO INFORM
THE PASSENGERS due to recent layoffs and due to inefficent IT-systems.
- So it was not a mistake, that we didn't receive an email or a phonecall and there was no information on their web-page.
WE HAVE HAD PROBLEMS BEFORE! DO NOT USE THIS AIRLINE!
By the way, if you are planning on flying to Lissabon with ANY airline you should know, that in case of missing luggage, you could end up waiting for HOURS before being able to speak to a representative. Bring
emergency water and euro coins, because you can't leave the area and there is only a vending machine with limited functionality in the area.
