I have long dirty blonde hair and i use sun in to lighten my hair to a lighter blonde shade and IT WORKS!



This is not for people with very dark brown or black hair! Why would you even think it was a good idea to use it on really dark hair???



I use the super sun in. I wet or wash my hair, spray it in, brush it through, blow dry and then wash my hair straight away. this stops it continuing to work, which means i can control the colour.



I would not advise anyone to keep this in there hair for more than 20-30 mins... think along the lines of how long a hairdresser would leave dye in.



The way I use it, does not ruin my hair or give me a brassy colour and I have very thin, fine hair. I think it would, however, ruin your hair if you left it in for more than 30 mins.



I don't know why people are saying it continues working even after you wash it out and for years after you stop using it. My sister used it when she was younger on brown hair, so it went a very brassy gingery colour and then she went to the hairdressers and got it dyed back to brown and then got blonde highlights through it. Her hair was fine.



You just need to be sensible and not use it a lot or on brown hair. I use it once a month and it works just fine to lighten my hair.
