I bought the D90 kit for £800 last year, I took around 2000 shots with it and found around 20 I liked. Blown highlights and harsh, hard over sharpened images. I sold the camera for £500 and went back to my Nikon F6 film camera. I guess digital has a lot of catching up to do before the quality is anywhere near to film. The DX sized sensor gives the same quality as a 110 film frame.

Such a shame - sounds more like a faulty camera to me! The D90 is a very capeable camera normally.
