Reebok Sports Club, London Review

I first joined this club 4 years ago and have been a member off and on. I have read a few reviews on here where I think there is some misunderstanding regarding the contract. There is no contract but they require you cancel before the 5th date of a month and what happens then is that you still have to pay for the coming month, say you cancel your membership on the 1st of august, then you will only pay for august, and not september. At least this is what I have always done without any issues there, like I said, I have been a member off and on.



The Equipment is brilliant, clean, and loads so you can't say you wouldnt find one you want to use even at peak times.



The staff, went downhill in the middle, but that has been revamped, as they have a lot of junior trainers/helpers available on the gym floor now. The classes have always been brilliant, I especially LOVE classes that ANN takes.



My only bad incident has been when I went into a class of Veronique, and she started shouting that 'you're too late' 'you're too late' and didn't let me join that class on sunday. In my 4 years here, there has never been any trainer in the hundreds of classes I have attended that has ever told anyone to not join there class as they think they are late, leave alone telling me because I never get late than 2 minutes for any class and on this occasion I think I went into the class at 15:34 and the class time on the timetable was 15:30. It was the first time I was going to take this class coz I wanted to try it as it was a new one. Another woman who went in to attend the same class a few minutes after I came out and was still standing around wondering what had happened, was also told off by Veronique, and she came out and said that this woman is so rude and we both said, well we don't have to take her classes then :)



I've seen members arriving 15 minutes late into the class and still being able to at least do their 30 minute workout. The issue was not just that, I noticed on the next sunday, when I WAS NOT GOING to attend the same class, that the class Veronique was taking was just following another one she had taken in the same studio, and no one new went in, women who had taken the class before that only got to stay in and continue.... I didn't understand that.



On another occasion I also attended a yoga class on a monday, which was taken by Leon, I thought he has a cold attitude so if you don't enjoy an instructors class, you wouldn't obviously return.



However, credit cannot be taken away from ANN, MAGDA, MARK F, JOHN, ANN, DAIRINA, for their efforts to make there excerise classes, fun, while adding new routines and keeping it more interesting all the time.



I think reebok should have a better system in place for member feedback, so they could improve the club even more and incidents that drive away existing members and sometimes loyal members of the club can be addressed in an appropriate manner.
