woolworths.co.uk BUYER BEWARE!
THIS DOESN'T APPEAR TO BE THE WOOLWORTHS WE KNOW (SEE THE HOLDING COMPANY). THEY HAVE GAINED OUR TRUST BY WHAT APPEARS TO BE BUYING A HIGH STREET NAME BUT DO NOT APPEAR TO HAVE THE RESOURCES OR BUSINESS RELATIONSHIPS TO SERVE THE CUSTOMER BASE THAT COME WITH THAT NAME.
My experience? Ordered 1st December to get in early for Christmas. No notification of delays until after order placed. Receiving some of the order bit by bit, but had to cancel 3 items as one was due for despatch 31/01/11! one for 23/12/2010! and the other was being queried with supplier as at today! This is a 'no star' rating overall but, they make you put in one star!
I'm off to the high street tomorrow to support some local businesses and, hey, it's more fun too with all those twinkly lights!
