The first thing is that this is really a "built-in" cooker sold as a "built-under". The fact that the kitchen fitters had to cut the plinth and the gas fitter had to return to modify the hob pipework proves this. Also you have to bend double to read the calibration on the controls, ok for very short people though. Also the bottom oven door wasn't completely flush with the oven (a bit picky I know). After 3 visits by engineers Hotpoint gave me a replacement, sadly the new oven had the same problem. Lastly, if you are only using the bottom oven and want to warm the plates up just pop them in the top oven, they'll be too hot to touch in no time! Why have I still got this cooker? It cooks well, it looks good and I can't bear any more hassle.
