“I'm surprised to see so many negative reviews on here....”

I'm surprised to see so many negative reviews on here. I've never had a single problem with ASOS and order from them many times a year. I suppose people are always willing to speak out when they have a bad experience, not so for a good one. I also note most of the reviews reflect badly on the delivery experience which surely is the fault of the courier service rather than the company itself (although perhaps customer service could have done a better job in these circumstances).

As for my own experience of ASOS (and I say ASOS - not parcelforce!)

I order most of my "nice" clothes and shoes (as opposed to day to day wear) from ASOS as they have a brilliant selection of designers and brands and an easy to navigate website, which I find hugely preferable to fighting the tourists in Oxford/Regent/Carnaby Street trying to find the perfect party dress.

There is a HUGE range of stuff - no matter how specific my want is they always seem to have something that matches my description. The ASOS outlet section in particular is great, you find stuff by known and up and coming designers hugely marked down, I've had dresses for £40 and £70 marked down from upwards of £150 and just recently saved £40 on a pair of leather boots.

My stuff is always dispatched either same or next day and has always arrived within the allotted time (I always order with "Style Saver" delivery though so can't comment on their "next day" service - I don't like to leave things that close to the mark!). The other week my boyfriend had a bag he ordered from them delivered on a Sunday! Unheard of!

So far I've only had to deal with Customer Services once (to change my delivery address - my own mistake) and it was sorted out promptly by email. I understand a lot of people prefer to have a phone number to contact, which is understandable (although I hate using the phone so I prefer the email approach myself). But most websites do conduct the majority of their customer service by email now (Amazon, Ebay et all) and I tend to find waiting a few hours for an email reply that I can check in my own time preferable to being put on hold for ages on an 0845 number which seems to be every other company's policy!

As for the clothes, I've been overall happy with both the quality and price and have had great comments on almost everything I've bought from there. It feels great to get compliments on something you're wearing and know you've not maxed out your credit card to get it!

I found this review not helpful because...it seems to me that this is from a person that actually works for asos. Most of the reviews are not stating that the site is bad but the customer service they provide after they have taken your money is what people have a problem with and the way they don't check the courier service they use and keep people waiting. I have on several occasion bought from them. However, recently they have had a lack of respect to people problems and concerns.

<br/>Other sites such as Amazon, and ebay actually get back to you with a quick resolution and do not keep you waiting and give you items that have not been delivered re-sent very quickly. They are not rude nor do they insult their customers integrity.
