having just retired, we obviously use the kettle a lot. After several cheaper(but not cheap) models fizzled out quickly we were recommended to buy a Magimix kettle as it has a 3 year gaurantee. After three years its still going strong and although the finish is a little tarnished it still boils water very quickly. Would highly recommend!

With all brushed steel finished devices, they get a bit dull after a while.

I found a great way to clean them up nicely is to use some soap and water to get all the dirt off first, then use some WD40 on a cloth and rub it in nice and hard.

Enjoy your "Brand New" Kettle ;)
