Bought an BSA Lightening .22 around 12 years ago for pest control, mounted it off with a simmons 3-9 x 40 scope. Shot about 20 rabbits and around 20 squirrels then managed to slip in the mud and bend the barrel. Got a replacement barrel from BSA although it fitted straight on it was longer than original but had no problems at all with accuracy so left it at that. 12 years later lost count of rabbits it has killed, still used on a weekly basis for crows and rabbits out to 45 meters. Overall fantastic gun, extremely accurate, mega reliable, only ever had to tighten stock and silencer screws. I would recommend to anyone. I would never part with this rifle in fact I have just bought one in 177 to add.
