I bought a Polti Vaporella steam generator iron (950 model). After 6 months it started leaking black fluid and the continous steam button broke. It was sent in for repairs. After 2 months (yes 2 months) it was returned to me leaking with the a new tank (for a different model) and the button broken. There is no service guarantee, no SLA agreement, no date given for repairs, no escalation procedures at after sales service and no call backs. Nobody at Polti cares about the so-called 'warrantee' offered and I was forced to purchase another iron as the repair could go on for months or even years. After many calls it was collected and repaired by their industrial repairs and returned to me. Now 3 months later, the button still does not work and of course, it still has the tank for a different model albeit it does fit There has never been an explanation for the black fluid. I paid £165 online and it worked for 6 months only. The Polti Vaporella 950 steam generator is a total dud.



Do not buy a Polti product of any sort as they will not replace or fix it properly even under warrantee.
