“Beware..........there website is a nightmare. It's...”

Beware..........there website is a nightmare. It's impossible to select and it keeps throwing you out. If you change any details at all, despite looking as if they've changed may not have as you have to selct confirm so what you see on the screen might not be what you have actually selected....woeful...

It also asks you in so many different ways if you require add on's such insurance/choice of seating etc. it is designed to confuse so that you will make a mistake and select and pay for a service that you do not require - and if you do beware.....you can't contact anybody either by phone or email - you simply get an automated message saying they are busy and will deal with your enquiry within 5 working days - which they don't. I have not travelled yet and am dreading it as I have not been sent confirmation of my intinery yet despite asking for it. In addition I have no idea how I to use/claim the bus tickets that I have paid within my booking to get to the airport.

I dread to think what's to come, if their website and after sales customer care are anything to go by it will be pityful. My flight was not cheap and I would have exected better customer service considering what I paid - I would not recommend using them unless their flights were £1 as this is all they are worth if you have any problems - One totally disgruntled customer

I never have any problems using the website...It's probably you that is the problem!

I agree. And this is new. I just booked a flight today and can confidently say the website has really been turned into a minefield for the shopper. It never used to be that way. You now have to fight to decline seat selection, fight to decline insurance, the bag fee has gone up %500, and at the end you pay a 4 dollar service fee. Air Asia bookings have gotten very ugly.

I absolutely one hundred per cent agree with this reviewer. The Air Asia website is a disgrace. I've never seen a more disingenuous attempt to take every penny from customers before. I work in IT. A less tech savvy person might give up or be fooled after trying to opt out of the select-a-seat option (extra costs, but you have to counter-intuitively click the other button, \\\"cancel\\\", instead of \\\"ok\\\" when a pop-up asks you if you're sure you want to abandon extra-cost seat selection - WTF? The popup asks do you want to abandon seat selection - if you do, the answer should be \\\"ok\\\" - instead clicking \\\"ok\\\" tells the website \\\"no, I don't want to abandon this\\\" and takes you back to seat selection...) This is all aside from repeated attempts to get you to purchase insurance (again difficult to remove from your checkout) and meals. Oh, don't forget they must be the only airline on the planet that bans passengers from eating their own food on the flight.

The website is part of the airline, and there is nothing wrong (unless you are Air Asia staff) warning other people about what an un-user friendly (at best) it is.

I want to read reviews of the flight, not the website. You are speculating on what your flight experience is going to be like and not giving any useful info.
