My first ever call to a breakdown company in over 20 yrs of driving - a flat battery, parked in a dangerous place. The AA quote 2 hours to come out, I gave up waiting and called my wife up to bring my jump-start out.

This was 6:15 on a Tues evening, shouldn't be that busy surely ..?
