Good Points
Very good compatibilty with most formats.....& nice and cheap and looks good.

Bad Points
Annoying ping on tray eject, come on guys, this isn't a microwave, we don't need to hear that ping.
Also very loud motor noise and general poor quality internal mechanism.

General Comments
On the whole the 852 could be a promising DVD player if Dansai could sort out the existing problems.
