General Comments
We purchased a Sony Mavica FD75 digital camera about a month ago. It worked fine for several days and then developed a green tint over about 25% of the left-side of the photo. Called Sony -- they could not explain why and said to "send it in". We returned camera to our dealer and obtained a different camera but also a FD75. Used it about a week with no problem but it has now again developed a green tint over the left 25% of the photos. Called Sony. They again can't explain why. Said it must be that both of the cameras we received were defective. Told us to "send it in". We will be returning it to the dealer and purchasing a different brand. This sounds like a model defect not a defect with a specific camera.

I have owned a Mavica mvc fd75 for about 3 years. I just purchased another digital camera. It was time to upgrade. If my new camera is half as competent and pleasing as the Mavica, I will be extremely pleased. The floppy made it easy to store and carry pictures. People with much higher megepixel camera's were always impressed with the pictures I took with it. I will still use it although sparingly and it will compliment whatever I choose to do picture taking wise.
