I have also purchased a watch at Chapelles, which all be it of no great value was a present for my daughter in law. I explained to the very nice assistant that I was not sure if she would like this design and the one I realy wanted was to expensive. I asked if I could bring the watch back if I showed it to my son for his opinion. At no time did he say I would not get a refund and when he gave me my receipt he folded it first and therefore I never saw this.I would not have purchased it. Unfortunateley the watch is not required and I will now have to visit the shop to purchase another unwanted item... No win for me.. Just the shop....
