I had an WOEFUL experience at Alton Towers last year, went during half term before Halloween weekend and it was SO packed, we got on 3 rides, one of which was Nemesis after a TWO HOUR Queue... It totally sucked. I'd been a few times before and had a great time but this really was AWFUL.



BUT! This year we went on Monday 2nd November, both me and my girlfriend were off work and we booked tickets in advance which were only £15 each. And we went on EVERYTHING! We were there from 11am-4pm when it shut, and I went on 13, Rita, Air, Nemesis, Oblivion, Hex, The Blade, Log Flume, Runaway Mine Train, Congo River Rapids, walked through the aquarium, walked through the gardens, still had time to sit down and eat as well. You could just walk onto rides and there was virtually NO queue, the only 2 we queued for were Rita and Air at the start of the day which were about 15 minutes each.



When Alton Towers is busy it SUCKS, but when its dead, its simply amazing. Time your visit well x
