I was rather shocked. I suppose I was comparing it to Chessington. It seemed outdated, drab, and concentrated more on trying to profit, eg lots of shops, as opposed to creating a wonderful adventure.
Within a short while of being there, my twins were asking to go home. Literally begging me to leave.
I couldn't see any picnic space, there was so much walking between 'rides', and access was poor with a double buggy. The staff were sparse, and unknowledgeable.
We had more fun at the motorway service station on the way there- that was brighter, livelier, and cleaner. The food was better, parking easier and the toilets more accessible and cleaner. Staff were also more attentive.
At Legoland, I had to park a long way from the entrance, and I couldn't find my car easily afterwards. I drove between orange cones desperate to escape. I was so relieved to get back on the motorway. What a truely horrible experience, and an absolute rip-off. Rating ZERO

I found this review very helpful because...we wre at legoland on 28/10/10 with our 2 grandchildren and are of the same opinion. Power cut, staff unhelpfull and not in communocation with each other. Mixed messages park closing, park not closing, fireworks cancelled, no back up generators 2 very upset and disappionted grandchildren.Reinbursment of future tickets not helpful as live 200 miles away.
