Torremolinos, Beach Club Hotel Review

What a great hotel the Torremolinos Beach Club is and right on the beach. A typical Spanish 3 star tourist hotel which offers great value for money with good basic facilities. We had a bright and airy room that was clean and well presented even if the beds were a bit on the hard side and the quality of the pillows could have been a bit better. We had a sea view as do all the rooms but if you are looking for a room with more sun and a better view ask for one over looking the pool.

As we were there in October we found there was no rush for sunbeds, no queuing for drinks at the bar or in the restaurant. We were served well if not overly friendly but staff were always efficient.

The restaurant seemed to take hygiene very seriously. Everyone is handed a wet wipe as you enter and the food is bubbling hot. I did see the food being temperature checked a number of times. The food was good with a fair amount of choice even if it was a bit unimaginative but most night there was roast pork, beef or chicken. There was lots of salad and a choice of sweets. As with any restaurant you would get bored with the food after a few nights and as I said before this is a 3 star hotel not the Hilton.

I would have loved to give this hotel 5 out of 5 but the free WIFI was temperamental at the best of times and all the drinks are served in plastic glasses and few more smiles from staff would have been nice but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel if your looking for a good value hotel with high standards.
