“I had my second daughter in November 2009, 7 years...”

I had my second daughter in November 2009, 7 years after my first so I had to start from scratch but was a little bit wiser. I spent a lot of time searching for the right pushchair system and decided on the Joolz, I was lucky enough to have my in-laws buy the black joolz set with the car seat and adapters.

There are some features of the system that were a pain, like the size of the storage underneath the pram (only big enough for rain cover), a couple of the rods have broken through the rim of the rain cover, the main silver chasis frame has scuffed easily. Now my baby is approaching 1 year she sits in the chair unit, when it sits up its a bit too bolt upright as if she leant to far forward she might fall out (of course she's strapped in) but if I click it back a setting she gets frustrated because she's lying back to far and thinks I'm trying to get her off to sleep. Its not the best pram if you heavily rely on buses because its quite wide, in London they limit the amount of buggies on buses and I have purchased a smaller spare buggy in case I need to get a bus.

What I love about the pram is its so easy to manouvre, a push chair with power steering and luxury suspension, it doesn't get stuck over every lump and bump on the pathway. The wheels come off easily so it will fit in a boot of a smaller car. The height adjustment of the handle moves easily and is ideal for our family as some are really tiny and some are very tall. Even though its not advised I have my nappy bag shoulder strap rest over the handle of the pram and even when the baby isn't in it, it never tips over. I'm not sure if a seat cover is available for the pushchair to catch crumbs to remove and wash, if it is I wish I'd purchased one because other than a sponge clean its hard to clean the pram and pushchair body but the car seat cover comes off, it is a bit fiddly but is okay when you get the hang off it. I have an open plan living area straight off the front door and the pram stays in the room and baby has her 2 hour morning nap in the pushchair.

I would definitely recommend this pram but make sure you spend lots of time with it in the shop before you make your final choice.
