I had to use the travel insurance earlier this year, my son cracked his head open in the swimmng pool, the insurance was fantastic, we just had the genreal booklet with the details in, we called and gave our details, they took care of the rest with the hospital interpreters, my son needed plastic surgery on his head, to be fair the hospital were brilliant as well. Three months later and he just has a hairline scar, I some how think it was better to happen abroad rather than the uk!

At a very worrying time, we at least didnt have to worry about the insurance, I think the travel insurance is worth its weight in gold.
