Having made numerous trips on the TransAtlantic route through the years, I can say without a doubt that this was the worst ever. For £496.00, it was not a competitive enough price to account for...
the most cramped seats, limited inflight entertainment, small food and drink portions, limited baggage allowance, need to bring or purchase extra food and drink for flight (we were given 1 bottle of water...for a long haul flight??).
Everyting screamed 'below budget' service. I chose the flight because I had hoped to find a direct and shorter route to the west coast of North America...my outbound journey was delayed by 4 and a half hours and my inbound was 2 hours longer, due to an added 'touchdown' in Calgary. I understood from fellow passengers that both scenarios were not unusual with Canadian Affair. Never again, thank you!
