Oh dear, what a waste of time! The main advantage I was looking for was a bank I could use anywhere in the world. Thats what the blurb suggests... but when I went to Brazil they had no idea what a premier account meant in the UK and refused to stop charging my wife for her HSBC account (we were joint premier account holders). I actually had to go to Brazil to sort it out! Then when she needed travel insurance they abandoned her and no hospitals would help recognise her insurance company. Finally, when I tried to make an international payment to buy a house they said it would take 7 days before they could even get the money out of my account. Very few advantages and the rate on the card is just the same or worse than other UK banks when used abroad. I wasted time and energy on this account, very disappointed.
