“We stayed on this site during September this year with...”

We stayed on this site during September this year with our own caravan. We were sited on the Rydale field next to a very busy main road. Cars and lorries were using this road all night long. As the weather was nice we had our windows open so you can perhaps imagine we did not get a lot of sleep or relaxation.We wonder whether we would of been sited here by the wardens if we had not paid part of our nightly tarriff with newspaper coupons?!!



I have to say that the toilet block was immaculate at all times, the reception staff were very friendly and helpful, but when we saw the park wardens on site they blanked us although we always spoke to them. I don't think I ever saw them smile. Not a good advertisement for a happy campsite!
