In 2008 my husband bought a eternity ring from Ernest Jones within the first year it had bend so bad out of shape that i could not wear it, I took it back to the store wear I was asked if I wore it everyday! (Of course its a ring!) They blamed me for the out of shape ring but agreed to reshape it as a sign of goodwill. A year later and it is even worse this time, they sent it away to their quality control and they of course put it down to accidental damage caused by me! The ring is now with the customer service department who are also saying the same, after finding this site I will be on the phone tomorrow quoting all the above info (I hope to see them on Watch Dog soon!)
