I used to have blonde hair, and had it dyed professionally when I changed to brunette. I had it dyed professionally again about 4 months ago but the colour was starting to go a little coppery. I decided to use L'Oreal Excell 10 as my flatmate recommended it. She did it for me and i found the coverage great, no patches or roots, and it also left my hair smelling nice and in good condition. HOWEVER, and this seems to be a common problem, i bought golden brown and my hair turned out virtually black. It is waaay too dark for my skin tone and I'm desperate to fade it! My flatmate had used the same shade, but she had much darker hair than mine to start with and she left hers on for over 10 minutes - I only left mine on for 8 minutes and yet our hair is now pretty much the same colour! I would recommend the product, but go for something a lot lighter than what you want and only leave it on for 5 minutes.
