We bought an expensive double bed from John
Lewis in Oxford Street, and the service was atrocious! first they got our details wrong for delivery...then the bed broke and the Aftersales care was absolutely appalling, the Mr Woodwood phoned me and said "your warranty had run out"...We'd only had the bed 3 months! He also told me that because I moved the bed 2 inches I 'invalidated' the warranty! I would not recommend John Lewis for beds....better to go to a furniture or bed store.
