“Poor customer service, tried to cancel my ad within...”

Poor customer service, tried to cancel my ad within 24hrs of placing it as car sold via gumtree but would not refund. As result still had to pay £40...it hadnt event went to press but they were kind enough to offer to omit my ad to avoid hassle of callers seeing the vehicle was now sold...money for nothing or what?!
