I am sure BT would like to fully automate their customers so that they simply extract however much they think from your bank account absolutely hassle free. I have been charged £500 illegally, have argued for months about the penalty fee if not paying by direct debit (I simply do not trust them to get the figure right and certainly do not trust them to auto extract money from me), have had my bandwidth cut by about 50%, get no sense from the 'bangladeshi' so called help desk (it's designed to frustrate and slow you down to the point where you give up) and I'm locked into the contract for another 10 months. Try and look at the T&Cs and you are entangled in a web of document links with no way of determining precedence. Grrrrrr.
I take Business Broadband Option 2 and Phone Line.
