I booked my flights to dubai/karachi via dream world in Ealing. They said that I should pay the full price straight away otherwise the airline might cancel the tickets. I did so straightaway.
Despite that they did not give me my e-tickets straight away and made one excuse after another. which included
1. Your tickets are booked don't worry
2. We don't issue e-Tickets straightaway cause if the airline makes any changes we would not know once the booking is ticketed and we cannot inform the customer. etc etc. Each person had a different reason for not issuing the e-ticket.
It turned out that they did not pay the consolidators in time and they cancelled my flight. By the time they payed, the original booking price had gone up. They didn't tell me that until I went to their offices and demanded my ticket. I had to change my flight for one of the sectors before they would issue my e-tickets.
After paying the consolidators, when they reinstated the booking they put the wrong dates in. Luckily I was checking my booking on Emirates website and I reaslised their blunder. They changed the dates again and acted as if it was always there and I had made a mistake.
Due to the delay I was not able to reserve the seats on the plane which I would have liked. Not to mention the extreme anxiety after having paid all the money and not getting e-tickets like with any other travel agent or airline.
You call a local London number but the person answering is in Pakistan. If you call and ask for a specific person they would just say that he has gone to a meeting or not at his desk etc. Nauman is the person I spoke to most and was lied to by him on each occasion with a different excuse for why I did not have my e-tickets. He would say that my booking is all confirmed and I did not need to worry about it. Each time he would give a different date for when the e-tickets would get issued but each time the date came and passed.
I would not go back to them or recommend any one else go to them unless they want a lot of stress and don't mind knocking on their door to get the tickets issued. It was a long awaited holiday and because of them it all became too stressful and draining on all of us.
