Ordered a mattress from John Lewis online which shows that it will be delivered within 7 working days. After a few days JL phoned me and confirmed the delivery date. The day before delivery they sent me a text message and confirmed again. But they didn't turn up!!! - I wasted a whole day staying at home just waiting for the delivery - when I phoned customer services they said they didn't know what was happening. They asked me to hold the line - I listened for the music for over 10 mins and had to hang up. Now they said they are going to deliver the mattress next Tuesday - and who knows if they are going to turn up this time or not?! finger crossed. JL really shouldn't outsource delivery to the stupid delivery company - even no one to give a call to customer when the delivery is cancelled. very disappointed - I will never buy furniture from JL anymore - will go to M&S instead.
